Texas is it's name-o!

 There is a state that we all love and Texas is it's name-o! T-E-X-A-S  Last week, we were busy learning about our great state of Texas.  Please ask your child to tell you our state flower, bird, tree and animal.  They can also tell you about the capitol!  In Math, we are working on fractions (halves and whole).  We will continue to practice problem solving with addition and subtraction.  In science, we discussed the different types of water and their uses (lakes, pools, rivers, ocean).
