Last Week, we started our 2 week study on insects. We are working hard on defining an idea (circle map) then classifying the same idea (tree map) to create 3 complete sentences. They did a great job writing in their journals on the topic of their choice. Below you will see the tear art bug they created with the poem that describes their bug.
In science, we discussed reduse, re-use and recycle. Our vocab words were: Earth day, trash, bin, pollution, litter, and landfill.

We worked on capacity in math. We discussed different types of containers and their capacities. Was there more or less? Did they hold the same?
