This will be my fourth year to be involved with Relay for Life. It has become a passion of mine to raise money for The American Cancer Society. I have known far too many people in my lifetime that have battled this HORRIBLE disease. In December, yet another one of my precious family members passed away with cancer, my Uncle Donnie McVay. He was a fighter til the end! We miss and love you tons Uncle DooDoo! WE BELIEVE!
I also lost my aunt, Lana Groce, to cancer. What a kind and precious woman we lost. I'll never forget her singing "Deep and Wide" to all of us at grandma Groce's house.
Our dear friend Joe Gray WON his battle and is still here with us providing many laughs along the way!!
My dad fought and won his battle with Hodgkin's Disease before he suddenly lost his life way too soon. I love you, Dad!!
It is Your efforts that will help the American Cancer Society fund groundbreaking cancer research, provide up-to-date cancer information, advocate for all people to have access to screening and treatment, and offer free programs and services to improve the quality of life for people facing cancer. By being a part of Relay, we are joining a worldwide movement to help defeat cancer for future generations.
