Lights Around the World

We began our unit on the Lights Around the World. We have discussed traditions this time of year and how we have our own traditions as well. Yesterday, we discussed how trees can be decorated differently. We decorated our own trees. Today, we discussed the African tradition of Kwanzaa. We learned about their seven principles and what each candle stood for. We are continuing to work on sorting by attributes and problem solving in math. In science, we are studying reindeer. Today, we discussed the habitat and body parts.
