Holidays Around the World

We wrapped up our week of learning about Holidays around the world.  Lights are used in many countries to celebrate different holidays.  This week we talked about Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Chinese New Year and Las Pasadas.  Ask your child to tell you about each celebration.  Our word of the week was traditions.  We shared our own traditions and discussed what our families do each year.
