First Day!

Wow!  What a wonderful first day in Kindergarten!  I just wanted to let you know that your children did an amazing job with routines and procedures today.  The first week or more (Smiles!) is important to review, review, and review some more our daily rules, routines and procedures in and out of the classroom!  We of course mix in songs, books and activities along the way.  Some things we will work on are:
1.  When standing up from the table, push your chairs in
2.  Use a quiet voice level in the classroom.
3.  When on the learning rug, raise your hand and speak 1 at a time.
4.  In the hallway, walk with a bubble in your mouth, hands behind your back and eyes facing forward.
5.  Always put away what you get out.
6.  Hands and feet to yourself at ALL times!

Today was a happy GREEN day for all of my friends.  Tomorrow, I will explain and carry out the classroom management chart.  It is very important to talk with your child and review their daily behavior so  your child can reach their full potential and be ready for 1st grade.
