•Journal writing- focus on details is in the picture. Talking about how the picture tells the story. We will always include a character, setting and event. Staying on topic and the writing process.
•We will continue to show how we choose a TOPIC to write about.
•When I Grow Up class book.
•The students are working on making connections while listening to a story. We are also working on inferring while looking at a picture.
•Letters and Sounds and words that begin with those sounds
Math
•Vocab words: add, estimate
•We will practice counting sets of objects as well as representing numbers with sets of objects.
•We will sort by attributes (color, size, shape, thickness, etc)
Make a counting book of numbers up to 10.
Subitizing
Science
•Vocab Words: heavier, lighter, texture, mass, size
•Comparing and describing apples using our five senses.
•Taste test of different products made from apples and apple sorting by attributes.
•Make applesauce, yummy!
