From the ART Teacher, Mrs. Knott...

For the first art project of the year we will be working on making art that can be published; published on a shirt, a magnet, a phone case, a key ring, note cards, etc. These items can be ordered with your artwork on them.
More details on the ordering and choice of items will be coming in the future from your Robertson PTA.
You will need to do your very best work and try your hardest since only one picture can be used. We will be working on these till the first week of October.

Different grade levels will have different themes.

Kinder - will put Art in their Heart. We will be looking at the heart symbol, its meaning and use in artwork. We will also be talking about what is a symbol and how we use them every day in school

Responsibility is the character trait that we will focus on for the month of September. The biggest RESPONSIBILITY that we have this month is producing artwork to the best of your ability and by the deadline for publication.
