Guided Reading

Your children are doing great with guided reading.  I love to see how responsible they are when they come to group with their folder, signed book sheet, word baggies and excitement to learn!  Please understand, your child may come home with the same book several nights.  This could be for several reasons.  I want them to become confident in reading books on their own.  I want them focusing on a certain skill (read like we talk instead of a robot), one to one correspondence, or comprehension.  I am adding additional words to their sight word ring from their reading groups.  Please help them to review or write these each night.  Thank you for your help at home!
