Lots of Rest and Ready to Go!

Wow!  We are off to another busy week of learning new things. Ask your child to sing the orange song.  We also learned Down By the Bay and picked out all of the rhyming words.  Word Wall Words for this week are me, orange and the.  Please continue to work on the words from last week too .  I will add them to the list on the side of the blog as well.  Today, we wrote our very first journal entry.  They did AWESOME!  I was so impressed with the detail in their illustrations.  In Math, we began to sort by color, shape and size.  We will continue to work on sorting and counting throughout the year.  In our math journal we added the vocabulary words: circle, triangle, rectangle, and square.  Enjoy the rain....I know we do, our yard needed it bad!
