Curriculum Night Tomorrow at 6:30

Alliteration with our names!
Well we are off to another wonderful week! The kids continue to amaze me with their excitement and knowledge. I love it! We have been studying about Eric Carle. We read, Draw Me a Star and made a star the way he creates his illustrations. Out of tissue paper--so much fun! After we reading, The Mixed Up Chameleon we made a list of animals we wished we could be and completed a class book. In math, we are continuing to work on numbers through 10 and reading graphs. We made a graph of our favorite colors. In the picture you can see what some of my sweeties said! We also graphed our own eye colors and made a class book of that. All class books will start rotating through your homes next week. Please enjoy them with your child and then return them the next day for others to ENJOY. We enjoyed our first trip to the library to check out books! Hooray! They brought a book home today and it needs to be returned every Wednesday. We will visit the library each week on Wednesday afternoon. Yesterday, we took our first trip to the computer lab where we learned how to log on. Please work with your child to remember their id and pin. The id number will stay with them through high school and their password is their birthdate. I sent home their id cards yesterday.
Tomorrow night is curriculum night. Come join me in the classroom at 6:30 to talk about our year in Kinder. Hope to see you there!
